HOW TO OPEN A BDO ATM             Savings Account?

   

REQUIREMENTS: 

Here are the requirements to open a Savings Account at any BDO branch:

1. Must be physically present at the time of account opening

2. Proof Of Billing

3. Minimum Initial Deposit

4. Monthly Average Daily Balance (MADB)

5. Present the original and submit a clear photocopy of at least two (2) unexpired valid identification

documents duly-issued and signed by an official authority, bearing the client's signature, and at least one (1) of which bearing the client's photograph.

You can present any of the following valid IDs:
a. Passport
b. Driver’s License issued by Land Transportation Office (LTO)
c. Tax Identification number (TIN) ID
d. New Social Security System (SSS) ID
e. Government Service and Insurance System (GSIS) eCard
f. Philhealth Card (digitized)
g. Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) ID).

Step-by-Step Procedure in Opening a BDO Savings Account

1. You need to personally go to the nearest  BDO branch in your place and bring the requirements with you.

2. Ask the teller to give you the APPLICATION FORM for opening a savings account. Fill out all the blanks spaces that are necessary to be filled out. Double check or even triple check everything before passing it on to the bank teller.

3. Provide the required initial deposit:

• P2,000 (BDO ATM Savings Account)

4. You need to wait for 1 to 2 days for your account to be activated. Claiming your ATM will take around a week before you can get it. Based on my experience usually, you can claim it after 5-7 banking days. You can always ask the bank teller if you got inquiries.

5. Right after applying for your savings account and get activated, enroll your account to online and phone banking feature. This is just optional but with the trend today, online transactions are very much common. Enabling your card with mobile and online banking features is becoming a primary thing.
